Jeffersonville JEMS is dedicated to community beautification in Jeffersonville, NY, by organizing events and planting flowers throughout the area. We meet monthly at the 1st Presbyterian Church to connect with residents and discuss new projects. We invite everyone to join our efforts for a greener, more vibrant community.

Things we do
JEMS sponsors the Jeff Jamboree featuring the Annual Duck Race and Tractor Parade with Jim Hughson in September and in October for Halloween, Trunk or Treat in The Backyard Park. For the Winter Holidays they decorate town and also manage the festive lighting of eight pine trees in The Backyard Park, with help from volunteers and other groups to actually decorate the trees in their own theme.
Events in The Backyard Park include Friday Family Movie Nights (dates TBA each season) sometimes with a petting zoo & pony rides too. JEMS also enjoys performances by community members/ groups on stage and concerts that feature live local Jazz, Country and Blues, Rock & Roll, Oldies and more.
Our monthly meetings provide a chance to come up with ideas, be creative, socialize and plan our events for the year.
We are always looking for new members to join this amazing dedicated group, including expanding the JEMS Jr. group consisting of youngsters aged 7 to 14.
